President votes in the first ever multi party parliamentary election

President Nasheed has, today, cast his vote in the Maldives’ first ever multi party parliamentary election.

This is the first parliamentary election to be held under the new Constitution. 455 candidates are contesting in this election for 77 seats of the People’s Majlis.
