His Excellency President Dr Mohamed Muizzu has extended warm greetings, on behalf of the Government and the people of the Maldives, to the leaders, governments, and peoples of Islamic countries and organisations as the Muslim Ummah celebrates the auspicious occasion of Eid al-Fitr 1447 AH.
In separate messages to the leaders, the President expressed his wish that the festivities of the day with loved ones and neighbours begin with prayers for the grace of Almighty Allah to strengthen faith and bless upon them a harmonious and joyful day.
He expressed hope that this Eid is filled with good tidings and that it enlivens the spirit of community among Muslim brothers and sisters.
