Pursuant to Article 190(b) of the Constitution of the Republic of Maldives and Article 5(a) of the Human Rights Commission Act (Act No. 6/2006), President Dr Mohamed Muizzu has appointed Dr Aishath Rameela as a member of the Human Rights Commission of the Maldives.
Dr Aishath Rameela was formally sworn in at a special ceremony held at the President’s Office this morning.
Dr Aishath Rameela's oath of office was administered by Supreme Court Justice, Honourable Dr Mohamed Ibrahim. During the ceremony, President Dr Mohamed Muizzu formally presented the letter of appointment to Dr Aishath Rameela.
