President Dr Mohamed Muizzu inaugurated the official camping ground for students today at CROSSROADS Maldives.
Developed to support cadet, girl guide, and scout programmes, the facility provides a dedicated space for students to engage in camping activities and experiential learning. It will also serve as a venue for academic research and field-based studies, marking the establishment of a designated camping area in the Greater Malé Region after many years.
Following the inauguration, President Dr Muizzu toured the site. The ceremony was attended by the Minister of Education, along with other Cabinet ministers and senior officials from the Cadet Corps, and the Girl Guides and Scout Associations.
