President Dr Mohamed Muizzu graced the official ceremony held this evening at the Barceló Nasandhura to commemorate the 75th anniversary of the Attorney General’s Office.

During the ceremony, the President launched the Diamond Jubilee Commemorative Book, published by the Attorney General’s Office to mark the milestone. He also inaugurated the Office’s new official website, aimed at enhancing access to information and services.

The President presented awards to staff members who have served the Attorney General’s Office for more than 20 years. Employees who had served between 15 and 20 years were also recognised, with their awards presented by the Attorney General, Uz Ahmed Usham.

Attorney General Uz Usham also presented a commemorative plaque to the President on behalf of the Attorney General’s Office, to mark the occasion.

The ceremony was attended by senior officials from the People’s Majlis and the judiciary, together with former Attorneys General and a large number of past and present staff of the Attorney General’s Office.

The President also took part in the commemorative photo session held to mark the 75th anniversary of the Attorney General’s Office.
