President Dr Mohamed Muizzu has pledged to relocate the HDh. Kumundhoo harbour to provide a permanent solution to the longstanding issues facing the area, announcing that practical work on the initiative will begin within two months.

He announced that construction of a multi-purpose hall for Kumundhoo School will begin within three months, alongside efforts to expand space and enhance resources at the school.

In terms of sports and recreation, the President noted that ongoing work on the island’s football grounds would continue, while additional facilities, including a futsal pitch and a volleyball court, are also planned.
