President Dr Mohamed Muizzu attended the “Thoddoo Masters Table Tennis Tournament” opening ceremony today during his visit to Thoddoo, as part of his ongoing tour of the inhabited islands of Alifu Alifu Atoll.
The ceremony featured a special cultural performance by students of Thoddoo School. Commemorative plaques were presented to various parties in recognition of their contributions to the organisation of the tournament, while a special token of appreciation was awarded to Ambassador Ahmed Latheef.
President Dr Muizzu officially inaugurated the “Thoddoo Masters Table Tennis Tournament”, commemorating the first time such an international tournament has been held in Thoddoo. The tournament will feature distinguished players with titles at national, regional, and international levels.
