His Excellency President Dr Mohamed Muizzu extended his greetings to the President of Nepal, His Excellency Ramchandra Paudel and Prime Minister of Nepal, His Excellency K.P. Sharma Oli on occasion of Nepal's Republic Day. He shared this message on his official X account to commemorate this significant national celebration.
In separate letters sent to the President and Prime Minister of Nepal, President Dr Muizzu conveyed warm greetings and best wishes of the Government and the people of the Maldives to the government and the friendly people of Nepal. He further reaffirmed the Maldives’ commitment to the close neighbourly bond between the two countries and expressed hope that the friendly relations will continue to flourish for the mutual benefit of both countries.
President Dr Muizzu also acknowledged the valuable contribution of the Nepali expatriate community in the Maldives, recognizing their important role in the country’s socioeconomic development.
Concluding his messages, the President extended his sincere wishes for the good health and well-being of President and Prime Minister and for continued peace, progress, and prosperity for people of Nepal.
