President Dr Mohamed Muizzu has assured that an outdoor gym will be constructed in Dhevvadhoo island. He gave the assurance in his meeting with the Dhevvadhoo island, where the Council members raised this as an issue.

The Council members also noted that efforts to address erosion was presently halted, adding that urgent solutions was needed. They further noted that the island’s health centre needed state of the art resources and upgrade the centre to a fully functional hospital. Council members also raised concerns about the availability of land and avenues for income generation.

The Women’s Development Committee also attended the meeting, where they appealed to create a volleyball court in the island.

Speaking at the meeting, President Dr Muizzu assured that solutions would be found for the issues the Council had raised.
