President Dr Mohamed Muizzu has met the members of Dhiffushi Island Council and the Women's Development Committee (WDC) to discuss the island's key development needs. The meeting was held at the Secretariat of the Huraa Council in Male’ Atoll.
Council members stated that urgent shore protection measures need to be enacted, as well as upgrading the school to A-Level standard and strengthening the health sector services in the islands.
The Women’s Development Committee stressed the importance of a multi-purpose hall for their activities.
During the meeting, the President and Cabinet Ministers shared the latest updates on the developmental projects planned for the island.
Speaking in the meeting, the President assured that solutions will be sought for the issues raised, assuring that relevant Ministries and agencies will take action as needed.
