President His Excellency Dr Mohamed Muizzu, has extended felicitations to the President of the United Arab Emirates, His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, and the Vice President, Prime Minister and Minister of Defence of the United Arab Emirates and Ruler of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, on the occasion of the UAE's 53rd National Day.
In his letters to the President and Vice President of the UAE, President Dr Muizzu reiterated that the Government of the Maldives remains steadfast in its commitment to preserving and strengthening the strong, brotherly ties and development cooperation between the two countries.
President Dr Muizzu also expressed his best wishes for the health and well-being of the President and Vice President, as well as for the continued progress and prosperity of the people of the UAE.
The National Day of UAE is celebrated on the 2nd of December every year.
