President Dr Mohamed Muizzu has met with the Faadhippolhu Atoll Council members to discuss the most important development needs of the Atoll. The meeting was held at the Secretariat of the Faadhippolhu Atoll Council on Saturday.

During the meeting, the Council highlighted the imperative restoration of the State House, the development of an uninhabited island as a picnic destination, concerns related to the permitted sand mining area, and the removal of existing restrictions in baitfishing zones.

Additionally, the Council underscored the necessity to enhance the ferry transportation system and expand cargo services within the ferry network.

In response, the President assured the Council that he would address the concerns raised during the meeting.
