The President meets with the Island Council and WDC of Dh. Ban'didhoo and discuss their most critical needs and concerns.

President Dr Mohamed Muizzu met with the Ban'didhoo Council and Women's Development Committee (WDC)members and discussed their crucial needs and concerns. The meeting was held at the Secretariat of the Dh. Meedhoo Council.

The discussions centered around addressing beach erosion, establishing an ice plant, constructing a multi-purpose hall for the school, and a new building for the Council's Secretariat, relocating the island’s powerhouse, and implementing an improved waste management system.

During the meeting, WDC members underscored the urgent need for a waste management solution and advocated for increased opportunities in sports, particularly for women.

During the meeting, the President discussed possible solutions to the issues raised. He provided the latest updates on the issues raised by the Council through the Cabinet Ministers and senior Government officials present.
