President Dr Mohamed Muizzu engaged in discussions with the Innamaadhoo Island Council and Women's Development Committee (WDC) to address the developmental aspirations of the residential community on Innamaadhoo Island, North Maalhosmadulu Atoll. The meeting was held on Sunday evening at the In’guraidhoo School.

The Council emphasised the critical need for constructing flats to alleviate the island's housing crisis, introducing ATM services, modernizing major road construction on the island, and establishing a vocational training facility as top developmental priorities. They also highlighted the significance of restarting stalled development projects after the initial phase.

President Dr Muizzu and Cabinet Ministers present at the meeting provided the latest updates on the issues raised by the Council.

Subsequent to the meeting with the Innamaadhoo Island Council and WDC, the President met with the R. Fainu Women’s Development Committee to discuss their most pertinent issues.
