President Dr Mohamed Muizzu met with the North Miladhunmadulu Atoll Council and Women's Development Committee (WDC) members. The meeting was held at the Secretariat of the North Miladhunmadulu Atoll Council.
The members of the Council identified several components for development. These include promoting tourism development, enhancing services at the atoll hospital, and establishing a Maldives National University Campus on the island. Additionally, they advocated for establishing a passport collection site and an Ice Plant, intending to ease the ice collection process for fishermen.
At the meeting, the President affirmed that the Administration would work towards addressing the points raised by the Atoll Council. The Ministers in attendance shared the latest updates on the Government's efforts to address the issues raised by the members.
