President Dr Mohamed Muizzu met with the members of the HA. Dhidhdhoo Island Council and the Women's Development Committee (WDC). The meeting was held at the Secretariat of the Dhidhdhoo Council.

During the meeting, the Council raised the key concerns of the community with the President. These included the need for road development, providing more sporting facilities for the youth, and improving the transportation system.

Council Members emphasized the urgent need for the island's hospital upgrade and the dire condition of the Dhidhdhoo powerhouse, which requires an immediate solution. The Council pledged to extend full support to President Dr Muizzu’s Administration, expressing confidence in the ongoing projects. Additionally, the Council briefed the President on the future development plans for the island.

During the meeting, members of the WDC highlighted the space limitations at their office and budget constraints.

At the meeting, the President reiterated his commitment to fulfil all pledges made. He assured that the Administration would thoroughly examine the issues raised by the Council and explore feasible solutions. The attending Ministers also provided updates on the Government's initiatives related to the Council's concerns.

Prior to the Dhidhdhoo Council meeting tonight, the President officially inaugurated the new Secretariat building of the Dhidhdhoo Council.
