President Dr Mohamed Muizzu met with the members of the GA. Kon'dey Island Council and the Women's Development Committee (WDC). The meeting was held at the Secretariat of the Kon'dey Council.

During the meeting, the Council discussed various pressing matters related to the economic and infrastructure development of the island. They highlighted the need to expand the harbour and build housing units. They also discussed establishing laboratory services and extending the health centre building to conduct small tests. Additionally, the Council shared the changes required in the water sanitation and outflow project.

The President emphasised the development of agriculture in the Maldives at the national level as one of his Government's top endeavours, adding that priority would be given to the islands with sufficient land to carry out the work. He also noted that efforts will be made to promote and develop local tourism, focusing on various sectors. He additionally reassured the Council that implementing solutions to these issues would be a top priority for the Administration.
