President Dr Mohamed Muizzu met with the members of the GDh. Gadhdhoo Island Council and the Women's Development Committee (WDC). The meeting was held at the GDh. Atoll Education Centre.
During the meeting, the Council emphasised the need for land reclamation on the island and expressed hope to expedite the construction of the hospital to be built on the island. They additionally relayed concerns regarding the shortage of space in their office, the need for improving the education sector, and the island's social development.
Speaking at the meeting, the President reassured the Council that the Administration would remain steadfast in delivering on its developmental commitments to the island. Furthermore, the President acknowledged the concerns raised by the Council and communicated that the Administration would thoroughly examine them.
