President Dr Mohamed Muizzu met with members of the GDh. Rathafandhoo Council and Women’s Development Committee (WDC) today at the Secretariat of the Fiyoaree Council.
During the meeting, the council members outlined the island’s most pressing issues, including the collapse of the Health Centre building, a lack of space in the Council building and harbour, inadequate access to proper medication, the need for mosque renovations, and resources for youth development. They also highlighted the ice plant's delayed construction.
The President stated during the meeting that the Administration would pay close attention to the ongoing issues to ensure the Council members’ concerns were addressed. The Council members were informed and briefed by the Ministers accompanying the President on the course of action in response to the issues brought forth.
