President H.E. Dr Mohamed Muizzu has launched "Riveli," a tailor-made online programme to revitalise the Maldivian nationalistic identity by incorporating Dhivehi language and Islamic studies to teach Maldivians abroad.
The President launched the programme during his meeting with the Maldivian community living in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) as part of his ongoing visit to the UAE.
This programme is part of the President's commitment on November 30, 2023, to uphold the principles of nationalism he made during his meetings with Maldivians living in the UAE. It is also part of the work carried out by the Ministry of Dhivehi Language, Culture and Heritage to work with embassies and consulates overseas to ensure Maldivians residing abroad also embrace the Dhivehi language and uphold the tenets of Islam.
During the meeting with the Maldivian community, the President also inquired about their well-being, challenges, and concerns.
