President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih inaugurated the completion of several infrastructure projects on Manadhoo Island in the Noonu Atoll on Sunday. These projects include the development of a water supply network, six Outpatient Department (OPD) rooms, and a laboratory in Noonu Atoll Hospital. A multipurpose hall was also constructed in the Noonu Atoll Education Centre, along with an indoor gym, a modern football ground, and the FENAKA Office. The completion of these projects was marked as part of President Solih's ongoing tour of some islands in the atoll.

Vishwaraj Environment Pvt. Ltd. completed the water system project on Manadhoo Island under a US$800 million line-of-credit facility from the Exim Bank of India. As a result, 269 households have been connected to the water network. Additionally, President Solih inaugurated the multipurpose hall, a state-of-the-art and spacious building built by Afami Maldives Pvt. Ltd.

Before inaugurating the new and modernised football ground, President Solih also inaugurated the completion of the indoor gym. The new FENAKA Office, developed in the harbour area, can accommodate up to 30 staff members. These developments mark significant progress in the infrastructure of Manadhoo Island.

Under President Solih's leadership, the administration has made significant progress towards achieving equitable development across all inhabited islands in the Maldives. This includes improving the quality of life for citizens and empowering them to lead dignified lives. During his visits to various islands, President Solih is officially inaugurating the completion of numerous projects and services.
