President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih inaugurated several major infrastructure development projects on Hanimaadhoo Island in Haa Dhaalu Atoll on Wednesday. These projects, which include an upgraded harbour, a new football stadium, road development, shore protection, and a skate park were completed as part of the administration's efforts to achieve equitable development across all inhabited islands in the Maldives.

The newly opened football stadium was constructed to modern standards and features a turf field. The President also opened the newly developed skate park on the island. The upgraded harbour, contracted to the Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC), was also inaugurated by President Solih. In addition, MTCC completed 7.4 kilometres of roads and the island's shore protection project.

These projects are part of President Solih's broader efforts to enhance the quality of life for citizens across the Maldives and empower them to lead dignified lives. Under his leadership, the administration has made significant progress towards this goal.
