The President’s Office on Wednesday held the fifth session of the “Executive Enhancement and Enrichment Programme 2021-2023.” Organised jointly by the Public Service Training Unit, Cabinet Office of the President’s Office and the Civil Service Training Institute (CSTI), with the assistance of the Dhivehi Bahuge Academy, the fifth session was held at the auditorium of the Maldives National University (MNU) Business School.
Facilitated by Adam Naseer Ibrahim, a lecturer at the Islamic University of Maldives (IUM) and a leading linguistics expert, the session was centred on the appropriate, respectful and effective use of the Dhivehi language in formal correspondences and communications. Mr Naseer is also an experienced trainer in public speaking and poetry.
President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih officially launched the Executive Enhancement and Enrichment Programme 2021-2023 on December 27, 2021. The programme seeks to improve the skills and capabilities of political and executive-level staff in public offices. Local and international experts in relevant fields facilitate the sessions in the two-year training programme.
