The President and First Lady participate in launch of the "Majeedi Run"

President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih and First Lady Fazna Ahmed on Friday evening participated in the torch relay held to mark the start of the "Majeedi Run." The event is held as part of Majeediyya School’s 95th-anniversary celebrations and to start the countdown to the school’s centennial anniversary.

The President and the First Lady joined the torch relay in front of the President’s Official Residence, Mulee’aage. President Solih was passed the torch by the school’s captain, after which the President handed over the torch to the President of the steering committee of the event, Ibrahim Ismail. The school management also presented the President and the First Lady with invitations to participate in the Majeedi Run and designated event jerseys.
