President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih has conferred the National Award for Special Achievement to 24 individuals and a special medal to four individuals who memorised the Holy Quran entirely while attaining the highest grade. The recipients were presented with the honours at the official ceremony held to mark National Unity Day, tonight at Republic Square at Malé City.
The honourees include one individual who had achieved exceptional distinction in completing studies at MQA rank 10, 13 individuals who achieved the highest rank in an academic or training course, and 6 individuals who attained the highest rank in an international competition or exhibition.
President Solih presented special medals to the 4 individuals who have memorised the Holy Quran completely while attaining the highest grade. The medals were conferred to recognise their exemplary achievement.
