The President's Office has announced that the awarding ceremony for the National Awards and President's Special Awards will be held on Saturday, 26th December 2020. The Ceremony is planned to be held at 2030 hours at Republic Square in Malé City.
The Ceremony is organised by the Ministry of Home Affairs. All planning ad preparations for the ceremony are being conducted in line with instructions from the Health Protection Agency (HPA), with full Covid-19 safety precautions in place. Accordingly, the number of invitees to this year's ceremony has been lowered under the guidance of the HPA.
