Vice President Faisal Naseem has observed the preparatory work carried out to further develop the local transportation services in Male’ region. In this regard, he visited the bus stand development site initiated by State Trading Organization (STO) near West Park area.
The Vice President also visited the former Dharumavantha School parking zone development site initiated by the Male’ City Council. During his site visits today, Vice President Faisal Naseem met with key stakeholders of the two projects and discussed ways to enhance the local transportation system in the region. He also instructed the senior officials of Male’ City Council and STO to plan out the projects in a way to minimize disruptions to traffic movement.
Health Minister Ahmed Naseem, Minister of State for Transport and Civil Aviation, Ahmed Adil, Mayor of Male’ City Council, Shifa Mohamed and Minister at the President’s Office Ahmed Sameer accompanied the Vice President in today’s site visits.
