Vice President Faisal Naseem has met with the board members of the National Drug Agency in an online meeting held this afternoon. The Vice President congratulated the new board members and the new Chairman of the Board on their appointment.
Speaking during the meeting, the Vice President highlighted that the NDA Board is expected to coordinate with all relevant government agencies in order to fulfil their mandate, and advised them to work diligently for the betterment of society and the prosperity of the public. Vice President Faisal Naseem further highlighted that a united front from all involved organisations and parties is imperative to finding ideal solutions to serious societal challenges such as the abuse of illicit narcotics.
Members of the NDA Board also spoke during the meeting, assuring that they would follow the Vice President's suggestions and further affirmed their commitment to shaping a society free of narcotics abuse.
