President Mohamed Nasheed will inaugurate the project to construction harbours in the islands with the assistance of Japanese Government. Inauguration ceremony will be held at Dharubaaruge on Sunday afternoon.
At the ceremony, the agreement to begin the work on the project will be signed. Minister of Housing, Transport and Environment Mr Mohamed Aslam will sign on behalf of the Government of the Maldives and Mr Jan Anderson will sign the agreement on behalf of the contractor, MTHøjgaard of Denmark.
