Vice President Faisal Naseem has this morning returned to Malé following his visit to Kuwait. The Vice President participated in several calls and meetings during his trip to Kuwait where discussions were held on improving ties and co-operation in the development of fundamental areas such as education and rehabilitation.
On Sunday, the Vice President met Talal Khalifa Al-Jeri, the Chairman and Managing Director of Al Jeri Holding Group. The meeting was held as part of his visit to two schools operated by Al Jeri Holding Group; the Ajial Bilingual School and the American German School. During the meeting with Talal Khalifa Al-Jeri, the Vice President discussed avenues of co-operation and ways of improving the quality of education in the Maldives.
On Monday, the Vice President visited two other schools operated by the company; the Cambridge English School – Mangaf and Om Al-Qura School. He also made a stop at the Om Al-Qura Center for Rehabilitation.
During the visit to the schools and the rehabilitation centre, the Vice President toured the facilities and inquired about the different resources and services provided at the institutions. He was accompanied by Dr Ahmed Zahir, the Minister of Islamic Affairs, and Dr Musthafa Luthfee, the Special Advisor on Social Policy at the President’s Office.
