President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih has appointed Uz Aisha Shujune Muhammad as a member of the Judicial Service Commission (JSC). Uz Aisha Shujune Muhammad was sworn in as a member of JSC at a function held at the President’s Office this morning.
President Solih made the appoint as per Article 158 (b) of the Constitution of the Republic of Maldives and Article 3 (2) of the Judicial Service Commission Act. Her Oath of Office was administered by Supreme Court Justice Dr Azmiralda Zahir.
Uz Aisha Shujune Muhammad was appointed to the JSC as the member representing the Supreme Court. She was appointed as a Justice of the Supreme Court on 4th September 2019.
