President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih, the Supreme Commander of Maldives National Cadet Corps, has visited Girifushi Island this evening and inspected the ongoing 21st National Cadet Camp. During the visit, President Solih was briefed about the progress of the camp and he inspected some of the classes taught at the camp.
The National Cadet Camp is held from 1-12 December at MNDF Girifushi Training Centre. The camp sees the participation of 118 students from 32 schools across the country—18 islands and 14 schools from Malé. Sixteen cadets and four Officers from four countries—Bangladesh, India, Sri Lanka and Nepal would also join the camp as part of the International Cadet Exchange Programme.
