Vice President Faisal Naseem has today attended the commencement ceremony held at Dharumavantha Hospital for the Clinical Posting of students from the Maldives National University, School of Medicine.
Delivering remarks at the ceremony, Vice President highlighted the importance of a collaborative effort for the progress of the nation, stressing that every invidual citizen plays a vital role in the development of the country. He further noted that the Maldivian health sector consists of a majority of foreign professionals compared to locals in other professions, and called on Maldivian youth to seek employment in the Health Industry. He also urged skilled workers to become actively involved in the workforce for the collective betterment of the nation, and instructed the medical students to be caring and helpful to their patients while doing their duties at the Hospital.
Vice President Faisal Naseem also gave away certificates to the medical students who were clinically posted.
