Mohamed Shaheeb tenders his resignation from Maldives Broadcasting Commission

Mohamed Shaheeb, who was serving as the President of the Maldives Broadcasting Commission, has tendered his resignation from his position as a member of the commission. Shaheeb sent his letter of resignation to President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih today. 

As per the Maldives Broadcasting Act, once the President receives a written letter of resignation from a member of the commission, the member will be deemed removed from the post. Shaheeb took on the responsibilities as a member of the commission on 05th April 2016.
