President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih has concluded his trip to North Maalhosmadulu Atoll Meedhoo and Alifushi and returned to Male’ today.
During his visit to Meedhoo island, the President met with the island Councillors and senior institutional representatives, and later met Ungoofaaru Councillors and held discussions regarding the development of that island.
The second stop of the President's trip to the Atoll was to Alifushi island, where he met with council members and senior institutional representatives from the island and the Atoll Council of North Maalhosmadulu.
The President also unveiled a special monument at Alifushi and attended and made remarks at the celebratory ceremony held to commemorate the Golden Jubilee of Alifushi School.
