Vice President Faisal Naseem has attended the function held to celebrate the 129th anniversary of Maldives Customs Service. The ceremony was held at the Islamic Center this evening.
Vice President Faisal Naseem hailed customs officers for the significant role they play in their line of duty. He urged officers to excel at their jobs and to become role models for future generations by promoting service excellence in every aspect of their work. Moreover, the Vice President advised Customs officers to uphold the highest level of integrity at all times and provide quality service to the public.
During this ceremony, the Vice President handed out certificates to the nominated staff and launched a special logo representing the coming 130th anniversary of Maldives Customs Service.
Speaking at the event, Vice President Faisal Naseem sent his heartfelt condolences to the families of the 5 people whose lives were taken in the tragic launch capsizing incident that occurred earlier today near Nolhivaranfaru Island.
