President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih met with the Members of the Kaafu Atoll Guraidhoo Council this afternoon.
At the meeting held at the President’s Office, members of the council briefed the President on the most urgent needs of Guraidhoo’s citizens, and the council’s plans for further development.
During the meeting, council members highlighted the need to repair the sewage system in the island, and the need to increase the RO plant capacity. They also discussed requirements for the Harbour project, and the need to reclaim land for several projects along with many other planned infrastructural advances and development.
The President ensured the council members that the Government would take necessary action after discussing with relevant line ministries, and would address the specific issues and concerns raised by members of the Guraidhoo Island Council.
