Vice President Faisal Naseem has stated that being physically active is important in kids excelling in their academics. The Vice President made this remark while speaking at the closing ceremony of the “Devondale Kids’ Football Fiesta” held for 4th and 5th graders.
In his speech, the Vice President noted that physical education is an important component in holistic education. He also said that the administration accords high priority to include fitness and wellness within the education system.
Vice President Naseem urged all parents and guardians to encourage children to take part in sporting activities. He further highlighted the good qualities taught through sports, as well as the social harmony and unity it brings.
