President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih has tonight arrived back in Malé on the conclusion of the trip to Kuddoo and Villingili islands of North Huvadhu Atoll.
At the visit, the President inaugurated the “Masdhoani Account”. ‘Masdhoni Account’ will enable fishermen to easily participate in the banking system by allowing them to deposit and withdraw their earnings while staying in their own islands. This will also enable fisherman to access bank loans and credit schemes.
During the visit, the President met with North Huvadhu Atoll councilors and Villingili Island councilors. He also met with the respective senior officials at several institutions.
