President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih has this afternoon arrived in Kooddoo Island of North Huvadhu Atoll. On arrival, he was warmly welcomed by the community.
During this visit President Solih also toured the jetty area of Kooddoo.
The President’s visit is being made to inaugurate “Masdhoani Account”. ‘Masdhoni Account’ will enable fishermen to easily participate in the banking system by allowing them to deposit and withdraw their earnings while staying in their own islands. This will also enable fisherman to access bank loans and credit schemes.
At the visit he is scheduled to meet the members of North Huvadhu Atoll Council, Villingili Council and Senior members of different institutes.
