President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih has arrived in Hen’badoo Island of South Miladhummadulu Atoll. On arrival, the President was warmly welcomed by the island’s community.
As part of his visit, the President will initiate sanitation services in the island. He will also later meet with the Hen’badhoo Island Council.
Prior to the Hen’badhoo tour, President Solih visited Dhuvaafaru Island of North Maalhosmadulu Atoll and met with members of the Dhuvaafaru Island Council and Un’goofaaru Island Council. He also attended this year’s Unity Day function held in Dhuvaafaru island yesterday.
Moreover, the President made an unofficial visit to his birth island, Hinnavaru of Faadhippolhu Atoll yesterday.
As part of this tour, the President also visited Naifaru Island of Faadhippolhu Atoll this morning and met with the Naifaru Island Council.
