President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih has today officially launched the website of the Ukulhas Island Council of North Ari Atoll.
The President is currently on a day-long tour of Ukulhas and Feridhoo of North Ari Atoll.
Meeting members of the council afterwards, the President reassured of the administration’s continuous support and assistance to resolving the challenges being faced by the council in its day-to-day operations. He also highlighted the high priority accorded by the administration, to empowering local councils.
Members of the Ukulhas Island Council shared their concerns with the President, and exchanged views on future development projects for the island.
Afterwards, President Solih also met with the business community of the island, and later took a tour of the island.
During this meeting, discussions were held on challenges being faced to local businesses and ways to overcome these challenges.
