President Abdulla Yameen Abdul Gayoom has this evening inaugurated 50 futsal grounds, under the administration’s Sports Arena project. The ceremony was held this evening at Dharubaaruge.
The Sports Arena project is being undertaken by the administration, as part of President Yameen’s electoral pledge to establish sports arenas all across the country.
Following the inauguration, President Yameen took part in a commemorative photo with representatives from 50 islands.
The President was accompanied at the ceremony by Cabinet Ministers and Parliament Members.
