President Abdulla Yameen Abdul Gayoom has this morning arrived at Hanimaadhoo Island, to begin his three-day visit to North and South Thiladhummathi Atoll.
Upon arrival, the President was warmly welcomed by the island's community.
As part of his tour of the atolls, the President is scheduled to initiate the services of sewerage system of Nolhivaram Island, take part in the ceremony to mark the completion of beach protection project in Hoarafushi Island and initiate the services of sewerage system of Ihavandhoo Island.
The President will visit to Dhiddhoo and inaugurate the island’s clean drinking water services, attend the ceremony held to mark the completion of the island’s beach protection project, the completion of the road development project and inaugurate the housing project in Dhiddhoo. Moreover, President Yameen will initiate the services of sewerage system in Kelaa Island, inaugurate the marina style jetty in Baarah Island, and initiate the services of sewerage system of Hanimaadhoo Island.
