President Abdulla Yameen Abdul Gayoom has arrived in Bileffahi Island this morning, as part of his current visit to some Islands of North Miladhummadulu Atoll.
Upon arrival, the President was warmly welcomed by the island's community.
As part of his visit, the President will take part in the ceremony to mark the completion of beach protection project in Bileffahi Island.
During his two day tour, the President will inaugurate the harbour at Kanditheemu Island, take part in the ceremony to mark the completion of the airport land reclamation and the beginning of the runway construction in Funadhoo Island. The President will also inaugurate the sewerage system in Milandhoo Island.
