President Abdulla Yameen Abdul Gayoom has inaugurated the harbor and drinking water supply network in Guraidhoo Island of Male’ Atoll, at a ceremony held at the harbour area of the island this evening.
The harbour of Guraidhoo Island is 800 feet long and 450 feet wide. The drinking water supply network inaugurated in Guraidhoo Island today uses 3 plants of 30 ton, to produce 60 ton of water per day.
Earlier today the President visited Thulusdhoo Island and Maafushi Island; inaugurated the harbour of Thulusdhoo and took part in the ceremony to mark the completion of the beach protection project in Maafushi.
