As part of his tour to the Central Province, President Nasheed has this morning arrived at Feeali of North Nilandhe atoll and met with the people of the island.
Noting the various difficulties faced by the people of Feeali, the President said the government was working to overcome these difficulties. Speaking in this regard, the President said the government would provide a qualified headmaster and teachers to the Feeali School and that the work of expanding the harbour of the island would begin in the next two months.
During his visit to Feeali, the President also met with various committees and associations of Feeali and had discussions on the development of the island.
