His Excellency President Abdulla Yameen Abdul Gayoom has stated that “we have moved our national strive beyond our boundaries, into the international arena to compete with professionals and experts of international stature” during his address to the nation on the occasion of our 52nd Independence Day.
On this auspicious occasion, he has called upon the nation to see whether we as nation have what it takes to strive and win at an international level and bring a good name to our country by dedicating all our energy and resources to this cause.
