The Bangladeshi High Commissioner, Rear Admiral Kazi Sarwar Hossain paid a courtesy call on Vice President Abdulla Jihad, this Wednesday morning, at the President’s Office.
During the call, the Vice President noted that this year marks the 38th Anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the Maldives and Bangladesh and discussed the importance of maintaining diplomatic ties between the two countries.
The Vice President was accompanied at the meeting by the Under Secretary at the President’s Office Mr. Mohamed Naseer and Additional Secretary at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Dr. Hussain Niyaz.
