President Mohamed Nasheed has congratulated the Maldives national cricket team on reaching the final of ACC (Asian Cricket Council) Trophy Challenge 2010, being played in Thailand.
The President called the captain of the team Moosa Kaleem this evening to congratulate the team on reaching the final and convey his best wishes for the final match.
The Maldives reached the final of the tournament beating Qatar by 122 runs in the semi final match played at Thai Cricket Ground today.
The Maldives will play Saudi Arabia in the final, which will be played on Saturday.
